E.R.’s debut album, “Year of the Vagabond”, now on sale!
Following up fellow Vagabonds member Baysiqly‘s solo debut, “Leonidas”, E.R. is following up with his own solo debut project, “Year of the Vagabond”. Led by the buzz-worthy single, “Live Life”, “Year of the Vagabond” is a look into the past year of the Vagabonds rise in South Florida’s music scene.
Entirely produced, mixed, and mastered by E.R. himself, “Year of the Vagabond” got it’s title from a write up done about E.R. on an established music website labeling 2012 and 2013 as such. The 10 track album goes into the highs and lows of what E.R. calls “having one foot in the street and one foot in the music biz”, where although some may recognize him for his music throughout Miami, him and rhyme partner Baysiqly still have to deal with the pressures of your average everyday person.
From the moody “Keep it 100″, where E.R. speaks out to those who claim to be closest to him but have never shown any real support for his dreams, to the rags-to-riches anthem track “Winner”, to the neighborhood pride of “10th Avenue” where E.R. rhymes about his Little Havana stomping grounds and the specific people that have seen him rise from square one, “Year of the Vagabond” leaves no stone unturned in the past year of E.R.‘s life.

Vagabonds performing at Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn, Monday 4/15/13
NYC Vagabonds, be sure to catch E.R. and Baysiqly performing live on Monday, April 15th at the book reading and signing for our good friend Jay Fingers‘ new novel, “Orangemound”. A fiction novel based on the Memphis neighborhood he grew up in, “Orangemound” gives readers an inside look into the rough-and-tumble Memphis neighborhood, which became infamous in 1994 for being number one in murders, burglaries, and rapes committed in the city.
This show will serve as one of two shows that the Vagabonds will have in New York on the weekend of April 12th. For this date, which will go down in Hank’s Saloon in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, E.R. and Baysiqly will be accompanied by Current Event, which is an electronic bass band fronted by another homie of ours, Dj Sicksentz (DJ/producer for Mr. Muthafukin Exquire).

Vagabonds performing this Saturday in Long Beach, CA 2/2/13
This Saturday, February 2nd, the Vagabonds will be hitting the West Coast for the first time as they headline DUNKXCHANGE. Taking place at Cuban Pete’s in Downtown Long Beach, E.R. and Baysiqly will be rocking a set of some fan favorites as well as some new material off E.R.‘s recently released “Year of the Vagabond” album and tracks from upcoming Vagabond group projects.
This show will also serve as the West Coast leg of their “Now Or Never” Tour, which kicked off this past Saturday as they performed with Chi-Town legend Twista at popular Miami hotspot Villa 221. Peep the Facebook Event Page and flyer below for more details.

Following up Vagabonds member Baysiqly’s debut solo project, “Leonidas”, E.R. brings us the first single off his solo debut, “Year of the Vagabond”. Titled “Live Life”, E.R. encourages listeners to do the same by getting up and pursuing their dreams. Waxing poetic on the success the Vagabonds have encountered in 2012, he touches on everything from their come up, to becoming two of Miami’s most prominent MC’s, as well as hitting the road to perform and rub elbows with some of hip-hop’s elite.
As commonly found with Vagabond group projects, “Live Life” (as well as the entire “Year of the Vagabond” album), is produced, mixed, and mastered by E.R. himself. Make sure to get yourself a copy of “Year of the Vagabond”, which will be available for free download, as well as on sale on all digital retailers on Tuesday, January 15th.
