Vagabonds featured on Official “GuestList” Mixtape
As many that follow E.R. and Baysiqly, and Vagabonds Music Group in general are aware, our publicist Jay Fingers is a very accomplished writer. From his writing being featured on KidRobot, Billboard, Soul Head, as well as being in charge of our press releases here, Jay is very experienced in the field of entertainment. When you combine his real life experience in the night life here in sunny Miami, Florida, plus the extravagant night life found in New York City, and you top it off with Jay’s creative mind, you end up with his debut novel: “GUESTLIST”.
We’ll get back to “GUESTLIST” the novel, in a little bit, because we’ll be covering that extensively in the upcoming weeks. For the time being, we’re proud to announce that Vagabonds Music Group, LLC, in association with Be Cool Entertainment Holdings (Jay‘s PR/marketing company), and AEIOU Records, have released the official mixtape soundtrack of “GUESTLIST”. When we say mixtape, we’re not slinging the word around like most people do. We mean actual mixtape, as in the big homie DJ Sage mixed, crossfaded, and placed each song in order to provide 52 minutes of funk to liven up ANY party, and not just a random slab of songs thrown together. Curated by Jay Fingers himself, we’re proud to announce that the Vagabonds landed two selections on here, one being the critically acclaimed “Here We Go”, featuring Dynas (who’s a frequent collaborator of W-I-Z, who’s also featured on this mix), and a previously unreleased and unheard track titled “Rollin’ (Acid)” (you know we had to lace ya, Jay!). GUESTLIST Mixtape Soundtrack
Be Cool Entertainment Holdings, in association with AEIOU Records and Vagabonds Music Group, is proud to present the highly anticipated GUESTLIST Official Mixtape, available for free download at www.becoolent.com. The collection is meant to serve as an audio companion for the upcoming novel GUESTLIST from author Jay Fingers.
Miami’s DJ Sage mixed the entire project, which features songs curated by Jay Fingers. The mixtape offers an eclectic collection of party-rocking songs across a variety of genres, including hip-hop, rock, and pop. Featured artists include The Vagabonds, Brian Grosz, W-I-Z, Mala Reignz, Beejus, Alex Walker, The MC Faceman, Lil Heat, G. Brown, and more.
Those featured on the mixtape are indie and up-and-coming artists. I chose them because I feel they’re making some very exciting, very innovative music right now. I wanted them to get as much exposure as possible.

(what up, EFN!), were signed to Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music record label about a year ago or so, and are finally going to be releasing their long-awaited debut album on the label, titled “Take Me To Your Leader”. In addition to that, they just produced every track off Tech N9ne‘s most recent EP, “KLUSTERFUK“, which after being released yesterday, quickly shot up to #1 on the iTunes charts.

Vagabonds performing live at MIAMIPALOOZA at Tobacco Road (03/10/12)
We’re very happy and proud to announce that the Vagabonds will be hitting the stage for MIAMIPALOOZA at Tobacco Road this Saturday, March 10th, 2012, on Spring Break Weekend (or Calle Ocho Weekend as it’s better known here in the 305!). It’s being said that this is the largest music festival to hit Miami, with five stages playing host to over 50 bands. The event kicks off at 3 PM and is running up until 3 AM the next morning, with family oriented entertainment going on between 3 PM til 9 PM, and an age limit of 21 and over after that.
This show means a lot to E.R. and Baysiqly, because for those of you who have been fans of the Vagabonds since the very beginning in early 2010, you know that long-time Miami music renaissance man DJ Oski was the VERY first person to ever book the Vagabonds for a performance, here at this exact venue, the legendary Tobacco Road, which is celebrating it’s 100th year in business this year. There is a ton of history at this venue, including regular visits from Al Capone when it was used as a speakeasy during prohibition, and it also boasts performances from legendary artists such as George Clinton.
Pre-sale tickets are available for this event, which we here at VMG have available for purchase, so feel free to get in contact with us about purchasing tickets in advance, which are being sold for $5 a pop. As expected with Tobacco Road, you’ll come across great food, great drinks, and even greater music.

After killing the stage alongside Baysiqly this past Friday as the Vagabonds opened up for Action Bronson Miami’s debut, E.R. is right back to where he feels the most comfortable, on stage, as he tackles hosting duties as well as a performance at Club Eve’s back stage alongside 1 Life Entertainment‘s own Dashius Clay and NoEmotion Gold Mask, Silent Hand Souljahs, and reggae-hop band Still In The Making. The back stage is one of three stages that will be popping off this Friday, 03/02/2012 in celebration of the release of Miami-based BenchWarmers “Adventures in 8 Bit” mixtape. Vagabonds Opening for Action Bronson at Club EVE 02/24/2012
As the Vagabonds continue their rise to prominence in the South Florida hip-hop community, they have reached a mile stone and will be opening up for one of New York’s biggest up-and-coming artists. Gourmet chef-turned-rapper, Action Bronson will be making his Miami debut at EVE Night Club in Downtown Miami on February 24th, 2012. With many comparisons being made to Ghostface Killah due to their similar voices and heavy New York accents, Bronson is definitely blazing through underground hip-hop’s ranks as one of the acts to watch for in 2012, blazing through features in publications such as Complex Magazine, and The Fader, amongst others. New EP for FREE DOWNLOAD: Vagabonds – #FML

After a few months delay, the Vagabonds are finally here with their new EP, and they’ve made it available for free download. Titled “#FML”, this nine track EP highlights the past year that E.R. and Baysiqly have experienced in their personal lives while enjoying their new-found recognition and notoriety after releasing “Good Neighbors” on New Years Day 2011.
With the lyrics detailing their experiences over the past year, “#FML” is a deep and often dark look into the lives of the Vagabonds, not sparring any details in regards to their families, financial situations, broken relationships, and their own personal highs and lows. Produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by E.R., the decision to keep everything in-house with no outside features was made in order to provide the most intimate experience possible, as E.R. and Baysiqly are known for not holding anything back in their music, no matter how personal it may seem. In conjunction with the EP, they have released a video to the intro/title track; “FML” shot inside of Nike Missile Site HM-95D in southwest Miami-Dade County (also known as the haunted Krome Detention Center/Insane Asylum). We here at VMG hope you enjoy the video and album, as we feel this is our best and proudest work today. #FML.

Little Havana Guide Feature
“We’re also proud that one half of Miami’s hip-hop duo The Vagabonds hails from Little Havana: Eddie Villafuerte, or ER, who still lives in the neighborhood. The group’s videos often highlights Little Havana, including the one featured below, called Real Dade County.
Since we really like this duo (The Vagabonds) we’ll include another video here, too: Predictions. It also includes scenes of daily life in Little Havana, from preparing espresso in the morning to doing the laundry!
We asked ER about Little Havana’s hip-hop scene. “Little Havana has always been underrepresented, but now we’ve been integrated into the shout outs — by Pitbull, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy.” He explained that many of his music videos are set in Little Havana, and a portion of the “V for Vendetta” video took place on the corner where he grew up.”
