New EP for FREE DOWNLOAD: Vagabonds – #FML
After a few months delay, the Vagabonds are finally here with their new EP, and they’ve made it available for free download. Titled “#FML”, this nine track EP highlights the past year that E.R. and Baysiqly have experienced in their personal lives while enjoying their new-found recognition and notoriety after releasing “Good Neighbors” on New Years Day 2011.
With the lyrics detailing their experiences over the past year, “#FML” is a deep and often dark look into the lives of the Vagabonds, not sparring any details in regards to their families, financial situations, broken relationships, and their own personal highs and lows. Produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by E.R., the decision to keep everything in-house with no outside features was made in order to provide the most intimate experience possible, as E.R. and Baysiqly are known for not holding anything back in their music, no matter how personal it may seem. In conjunction with the EP, they have released a video to the intro/title track; “FML” shot inside of Nike Missile Site HM-95D in southwest Miami-Dade County (also known as the haunted Krome Detention Center/Insane Asylum). We here at VMG hope you enjoy the video and album, as we feel this is our best and proudest work today. #FML.
Vagabonds – “Invisible” now available for FREE MP3 Download
After several requests, we have decided to make “Invisible”, the first track released off of the Vagabonds up-coming EP, #FML, available for free download. The video, which has received over 20,000 views over a span of several websites, has instantly become of the Vagabonds most well known tracks, being recited by the crowd at shows where the Vagabonds are performing. As a token of appreciation, E.R. and Baysiqly have put up the track on their BandCamp page so all you fans can have it at your disposal.
Remember to continue checking our website, as #FML will be released next month!
Music Video: Vagabonds – Invisible
Coming off the success of their last video, “The Real Dade County”, the Vagabonds are finally releasing the first OFFICIAL video release off their new EP, “#FML”. Titled “Invisible”, this Baysiqly solo track (produced by E.R. of course), details the struggle of being ignored and overlooked while having a message that they want to bring out to the world, or a “speck in a world full of objects”, as Baysiqly puts it.
“Invisible” mashes up E.R.‘s bouncy, psychedelic board work with cinematics from Mr. Visual, showing a first-person view of an individual being ignored by everyone who passes him by. That, along with flashes of current world events, is a deadly mixture that can drive anybody to insanity and irrational choices, as depicted by the ending of this video.
As the first of many videos to be released off their new EP, “Invisible” looks to set the pace of what current fans and new listeners can expect from “#FML”.

Spreading Love: NoEmotion x JustinCredible – “JUNGLE FEVER 5000″

What they do Vagabonds, E.R. here. I’ll try and keep this as brief as I can so you can jam away. If you’re from South Florida, you’ve either heard, or heard of, my homie NoEmotion. Appearing out of the complete blue when we released our album “Good Neighbors” back in January, NoEmotion started releasing viral videos of him rapping punched-in line after punched-in line in front of psychedelic backgrounds. I can’t lie, when Baysiqly first put me up on him, I was like “wtf is this bull???”. but a couple of videos later, I understood it.
Disregard the comparisons to MF Doom. Disregard the gold mask. Disregard the loosely punched-in verses. And disregard the voice box he uses to rap. Instead, roll one up, light it, and open your mind up to the clusterfuck of life advice, (such as “When life knocks you down to your knees, don’t suck it’s dick/I got arrested for hitting a bitch, I wish that I can make a switch/” on the first single off this project, “Knee Grow Groove”) appreciation of marijuana, and sexual deviance that is “Jungle Fever 5000″. Picking up where “Shit Is Bad…But Diarrhea Is Worse” left off, NoEmotion keeps working at being the hip-hop antichrist; not caring about the sound quality of his work, not caring that his punch-ins aren’t timed correctly, never looking to gain fans or performance opportunities, I can go on for days. The technique seems to be working though, as with every viral video he drops he keeps getting a legion of fans we’re even a lil’ jealous of.
I was actually in the lab with him two weeks ago to lay down a track I produced for his next project, and in the midst of our extremely stoned recording session, I dubbed his style as “sampling and chopping time” (it made sense at the time). References to things that happened throughout his life, religion, references to TV show scenarios all got thrown together and rearranged into verses. Makes absolutely no sense, but in the grand scheme of things it does. Enough talking though, download “Jungle Fever 5000″ for free below. Shout out to JustinCredible who KILLED the production on here.
New Music: Baysiqly – “The Flu”

What they do, fellow Vagabonds? E.R. here, taking over posting duties while the big homie Jay Fingers (who normally handles this and is much better at it) is getting his 4th of July/BBQ/Drinking on.
Okay, let’s cut to the chase: my rhyme partner Baysiqly has followed up my recent “MY-Ami” track with “The Flu,” an ill freestyle session over both Jeremih‘s “Down On Me” and Lil Wayne x Rick Ross‘ “John.”

E.R. has decided to take a couple of minutes to lay down a little solo joint to get your mind off the Miami Heat’s loss in the recent finals. Although he’s never been the arrogant type, he believes Miami’s rap scene is ready to be taken over by Baysiqly and himself, hence his spelling of his hometown for this track.
Spreading Love: The Dysfunct – The Love Boat EP
What up Vagabonds, E.R. here to put y’all up on game. To set this off, like most of you, I’m accustomed to hearing Garcia over some hard hitting gritty drums and dope samples. So when the big homie DJ EFN told me last August me that Garcia was working on some things with his cousin, Adrianne Gonzales (of The Rescues), I was definitely interested in hearing how that mash up of styles would work.
The project (brought to you courtesy of DJBooth.net, shout out to the big homie Z), starts right away, no skits, no filler, leading right into “Blind”. Over some sypmhonic styled production courtesy of BetaControl, this is a nice laid back start to THE LOVE BOAT, and with the song format, it’s definitely a fitting intro. The next track, “Fire” produced by the homie Haz who I met at The Rising in January, is just that. Continuing with the uptempo symphonic sound of “Blind”, “Fire” is a solid track, featuring a tight verse from Garcia and tight vocals from Addriane. “I Hate Music” is up next, with a tight rock influenced beat from BetaControl again, going over a theme I can definitely relate to.
“Dr HeartBreak” follows up next, and as of right now it’s my favorite track on the album. Nick Fury definitely killed the production, and with the dub step influence, backwards vocals, and personal lyrics, it would sounds like it belongs on a Vagabonds project. The homie Plex from ¡Mayday! provides the production on the last three tracks, and it definitely shows, with production that sounds like it’d fit perfectly on a ¡Maday! album.“Throw It All Away” is definitely something I can relate to, coming from the environment I was raised in, and it’s probably my second favorite track. The project ends strongly with “Get My Something” and “I Don’t Know You”, both laid back joints with perfect performances from Garcia, Addriene, and Plex (who does his thing when the beats open up on these tracks). All around, tight work, definitely a must-download, and a good return for Garcia. This project will definitely hold y’all over ’til his next joint drops, which I don’t know if he wants me to spill the beats on just yet, haha.
Just in case you ain’t heard, be sure to hear what he does when he enters our world, on “The Top”, off our latest project, GOOD NEIGHBORS: http://becoolent.com/vmg/2011/01/vagabonds-good-neighbors-available-for-free-download/
