Vagabonds Opening for Action Bronson at Club EVE 02/24/2012
As the Vagabonds continue their rise to prominence in the South Florida hip-hop community, they have reached a mile stone and will be opening up for one of New York’s biggest up-and-coming artists. Gourmet chef-turned-rapper, Action Bronson will be making his Miami debut at EVE Night Club in Downtown Miami on February 24th, 2012. With many comparisons being made to Ghostface Killah due to their similar voices and heavy New York accents, Bronson is definitely blazing through underground hip-hop’s ranks as one of the acts to watch for in 2012, blazing through features in publications such as Complex Magazine, and The Fader, amongst others. If you missed the opportunity to catch the Vagabonds premiere tracks off their newly-released #FML EP, then this is the perfect opportunity to see what the hype online and in the streets have been about as they’ll be performing tracks off their latest project on the 24th. New EP for FREE DOWNLOAD: Vagabonds – #FML
After a few months delay, the Vagabonds are finally here with their new EP, and they’ve made it available for free download. Titled “#FML”, this nine track EP highlights the past year that E.R. and Baysiqly have experienced in their personal lives while enjoying their new-found recognition and notoriety after releasing “Good Neighbors” on New Years Day 2011.
With the lyrics detailing their experiences over the past year, “#FML” is a deep and often dark look into the lives of the Vagabonds, not sparring any details in regards to their families, financial situations, broken relationships, and their own personal highs and lows. Produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by E.R., the decision to keep everything in-house with no outside features was made in order to provide the most intimate experience possible, as E.R. and Baysiqly are known for not holding anything back in their music, no matter how personal it may seem. In conjunction with the EP, they have released a video to the intro/title track; “FML” shot inside of Nike Missile Site HM-95D in southwest Miami-Dade County (also known as the haunted Krome Detention Center/Insane Asylum). We here at VMG hope you enjoy the video and album, as we feel this is our best and proudest work today. #FML.
Vagabonds – “Invisible” now available for FREE MP3 Download
After several requests, we have decided to make “Invisible”, the first track released off of the Vagabonds up-coming EP, #FML, available for free download. The video, which has received over 20,000 views over a span of several websites, has instantly become of the Vagabonds most well known tracks, being recited by the crowd at shows where the Vagabonds are performing. As a token of appreciation, E.R. and Baysiqly have put up the track on their BandCamp page so all you fans can have it at your disposal.
Remember to continue checking our website, as #FML will be released next month!
Music Video: Vagabonds – Invisible
Coming off the success of their last video, “The Real Dade County”, the Vagabonds are finally releasing the first OFFICIAL video release off their new EP, “#FML”. Titled “Invisible”, this Baysiqly solo track (produced by E.R. of course), details the struggle of being ignored and overlooked while having a message that they want to bring out to the world, or a “speck in a world full of objects”, as Baysiqly puts it.
“Invisible” mashes up E.R.‘s bouncy, psychedelic board work with cinematics from Mr. Visual, showing a first-person view of an individual being ignored by everyone who passes him by. That, along with flashes of current world events, is a deadly mixture that can drive anybody to insanity and irrational choices, as depicted by the ending of this video.
As the first of many videos to be released off their new EP, “Invisible” looks to set the pace of what current fans and new listeners can expect from “#FML”.
Vagabonds Performing Live 11/18/11 @ EVE Night Club
Although this is unusually quick notice from us, we wanted to let all you Vagabonds fans out there that Baysiqly and E.R. will be in the building tomorrow night in The Red Room at EVE Night Club in Downtown Miami. Performing alongside up-and-coming Miami hip-hop artists such as Art Morera and Vurn, among others, the Vagabonds will be tearing the stage down performing material from their “V For Vendetta” and “Good Neighbors” projects, and even possibly unreleased material from their new EP, “#FML”. Doors open up at 10 PM and the door is $10, hope to see all of you out there, as the entire team will be in the building and we’ll be celebrating Jermaine’s (of Rebel Life Images) birthday as well!
Mago – “Best Of Both Worlds” (featuring E.R.)
Staying busy behind the lens through his Mr. Visual video company, as well as working on his debut project, “Make Me Famous”, Mago has remained low key since he dropped the video to his “Otis” freestyle a few months back. He’s back with a new video, linking up with Vagabonds member E.R. to create the “Best of Both Worlds”.
Featuring no hook, and a beat produced by Mago, “Best of Both Worlds” is a lyrical attack from the two MC’s, with E.R.‘s commanding flow holding things down in English and Mago using his rapid fire Spanish flow letting you know exactly what he’s setting out to accomplish. Although Latinos have been well represented in hip-hop in the past, it’s rare to see both sides of the spectrum being showcased alongside each other.
With E.R. (and Vagabonds member Baysiqly) getting ready to release their sophomore project, “#FML” very soon, and Mago working on his “Make Me Famous” project, we can be sure to see a lot of material coming from Mago and from the Vagabonds, with some more collaborations along the way. Peep the cover below:
Vagabonds featured on NME MAGAZINE’s website
In true Vagabonds fashion, it seems that E.R. and Baysiqly have hit another milestone in their short careers. Just recently, the duo was featured in NME Magazine, which is, to put simply, the UK’s answer to our Billboard or Rolling Stone magazines, for their “Real Dade County” music video. This is truly a big accomplishment, as being featured by one of the music business’ biggest and most reputable taste makers will surely put the Vagabonds profile up a couple of levels, coming just in time as they look to build anticipation for their new EP, #FML, which drops very soon.

Baysiqly’s Birthday Surprise: #FML COVER
What’s going on Vagabonds, got a quick little update for everybody. Today is Baysiqly’s birthday, so be sure to holla at him on Twitter or Facebook and wish him a good one! In commemoration of his birthday, we’ve decided to leak the front cover to the Vagabonds new EP that drops next month, #FML!
Hope you guys like the cover, and be sure to give Baysiqly a birthday shout out if you see him!
New Video: Vagabonds – Real Dade County (feat. Ryan K)
After dropping “Predictions”, which took the Vagabonds to another level in the blogosphere, as well as Miami’s brewing hip-hop scene, they’re back with another video off their “Good Neighbors” project, which was released on New Years Day 2011. Titled “Real Dade County”, E.R. and Baysiqly describe their upbringing in the city of Miami, over Rick Ross’ “Super High” instrumental, with a lush hook by one of Miami’s best R&B crooners, Ryan K. Featuring visuals from VMG-affiliated Mr. Visual, the video showcases Miami’s South Beach, Downtown, and Little Havana areas as the Vagabonds go back and forth about the city that made them who they are.
This video serves as a good reintroduction to E.R. and Baysiqly, who will be releasing their second project, an EP titled “#FML”, on 11/01/11. Stay tuned for more videos, shows, and songs as they will all be coming soon! For more details be sure to check back here at www.vagabondsmusicgroup.com
